- Temperance Personified is actually a painting of Salts Mill, Saltaire, West Yorkshire. Painted by the artist Henry Gauci in 2007. Sir. Titus Salt, the man behind the building of this Mill and Village did not allow alcohol to be consumed in the village during his lifetime. It is believed that this strongly influenced the title of this Henry Gauci painting.
