Henry Gauci British Born Contemporary Artist

Henry is a British born contemporary artist whose studio is based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK but he resides with his Family in Saltaire, Bradford, West Yorkshire UK. He is entirely self-taught. His art is very diverse, every new work he produces is very different from the last but still manages to capture, retain and encompass Henry’s very own unique style.

Henry uses a wide range of mediums from pencils, Pastels, Charcoal, Acrylics and Oils. As an artist he would like to infuse realism with contemporary with the hope to enable people to see works of art, which are both pleasing and uplifting.

Previously Henry was in the music industry writing and playing music since the age of thirteen. Henry retired from performing, session playing, writing and recording at the age of forty two. He then rediscovered his interest in drawing and painting – a passion which had lain dormant since the age of sixteen. He believes that everyone is born with a talent – some are lucky enough to find it early in life, some discover it far later and some will never find it.
